Bio-energy Work
Bio-energy work is a hands on healing modality which also uses psychological techniques and processing as part of the healing process. Running energy through “laying on of hands”, allows my client to receive information from their own body, mind, and spirit. It allows me, the practitioner, to gain information about my client’s energetic, emotional, mental, physical and spiritual state of being. I use psychological techniques to help my client understand root cause and therefore resolution to their physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual illness. I provide support by actively listening with compassion, empathy, and non-judgment. Intuition, higher sensory perception, and spiritual guidance are also elements of my work.
I work with the hara, chakras, and auric field which contains all of our thoughts, emotions, actions, and experiences about ourselves, others, and the Divine. I use various hands on techniques to balance, clear, repair, and re-charge the human bio-energy field. Repressed emotions create energy blocks and distortions in our bio-energy field. Clearing these negative energy blockages helps us fully open up to receive new vibrant energy, which replenishes and regenerates old tissue. It also helps cleanse our physical, mental, and emotional system from past victimization, ill feelings, guilt, and anger for ourselves and others.
A healing session may include hara healings, guided meditations, processing of limiting beliefs and patterns, emotional release techniques, visualizations, mind-body techniques, chakra repair and balancing, bio-energy pre- and post-surgical work, and grief processing (death, miscarriage, abortion, and/or divorce).
Traditional medicine is an essential component of our health and well being and my practice is meant to complement traditional western medicine. Local hospitals such as Fairview, Woodwinds and Abbot Northwestern now endorse energy healing treatments and include them as an option in patient care. Bio-energy work benefits people of all ages and I have experience working with children, teens, and adults.

What to Expect in a Bio-Energy Session
Our first meeting together will be about two hours in length. This time is used for me to get to know you and receive a complete picture as to what your needs are for your unique healing process. I’ll ask questions pertaining to your past and present physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual history. This is also a time when forms will require signing relating to your rights as a client and consent for treatment. Payment is made at this time so as not to disturb you after your healing session. I want you to fully enjoy the experience.
You will then be asked to lie down fully-clothed on a massage table where you can begin to relax into the process. I will then assess your bio-energy field, determining where there may be weakness, distortions, or blockages in your field. Typically, I will balance your chakra system in this first session by gently placing my hands hands and running energy into each of the seven chakra areas. This, at the very least, will provide you with a feeling of well-being and relaxation. When I have completed my energy work, I’ll ask you to take a few minutes to just relax on the table so as to give you time to integrate and process what has occurred during the session.
A clean, relaxing environment is provided for you. Calm, meditative music will be played in the background. Soft lighting or candlelight is used in the room. Some aromatherapy products are used in the room to enhance your experience.
